The Heart of Rugby Regional Tour is underway, with Classic Wallabies and Wallaroos already making an impression on the next generation of Australian rugby players.

The tour, presented by the Australian Rugby Foundation and Harvey Norman, kicked off in Adelaide last week with two clinics on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June. Classic Wallaroo Annette Finch and Classic Wallabies Nick Frisby and Jono Lance were on hand to put girls and boys aged 9-to-12 through their paces, giving young South Australian players a chance to learn from some of the best to have pulled on the gold jersey.

The response from participants and clubs was terrific, and it's just the beginning. With 40 clinics scheduled across six states and territories between June and August, the tour is set to reach communities right across the country, from Darwin to Hobart, Kalgoorlie to Mount Isa, and everywhere in between.

Delivered as part of the Australian Rugby Foundation's Grassroots pillar and backed by Harvey Norman's network of local stores, the Heart of Rugby Regional Tour is designed to make rugby accessible to junior players in regional and remote communities that don't always get the chance to experience the game at this level. For the Classic Wallabies and Wallaroos, it's a chance to give something back and inspire the next wave of Australian rugby talent.

The tour resumes this month with clinics in Darwin, Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, before heading to Western Australia in July and returning to New South Wales and Queensland through August.

Registration for all remaining clinics is open now through Rugby Xplorer. Find your nearest clinic below.
