The Australian Rugby Foundation (ARF) is Rugby’s national fundraising body who’s dedicated to supporting all of those involved in the game, from the grassroots to the elite. The ARF is a proud partner of the Classic Wallabies supporting, supporting delivery of the successful national coaching clinic program. The Australian Rugby Foundation together with Rugby AU, the Australian Sports Foundation and the Classic Wallabies launched the Rugby Aid Appeal in 2020. Fundraising efforts will go towards rugby clubs or members who have experienced major climatic events such as drought or bushfires and need help rebuilding clubhouses or replacing equipment and kits.
Not solely a footwear brand, ASICS develops apparel products with both athlete & supporter in mind, and aims to produce an array of products to fulfil not only technical training and match day garments, but also apparel to a superior quality for lifestyle and supporter ranges. In 2019, ASICS joined Classic Wallabies as a provider of on-field kit for our matches around Australia, along with apparel to support our national program of visiting clubs and schools. With a mission of “Sharing the Spirit of the Game”, The Rugby Club Foundation provides financial support to grassroots Rugby across the country. The Foundation has played a significant role in spreading and strengthening the influence of the game around Australia for over 75 years, originally as a licensed club (The Rugby Club) and in its present form as a foundation. Membership to The Rugby Club Foundation is available and open to all. Members include current and former participants, passionate fans and dedicated supporters of the game of Rugby in Australia, including all Classic Wallabies alumni. As a member of The Rugby Club Foundation and an active participant in its events, you continue to play an integral role in supporting grassroots Rugby.

Hearts in Union – Helping rugby help it’s own. Hearts in Union is a charity that is all about assisting those players who have suffered severe spinal injury during a rugby game. Rugby is a wonderful game played by people who enjoy the spirit of “mateship” and “fair play”. Unfortunately, some players through a freak accident have their lives changed forever. Spinal injuries place a physical, emotional and financial strain on the player for the rest of their lives. Hearts in Union aims to ensure those severely injured players who are suffering financial hardship receive the best possible support throughout their lives.
Modified Rugby ProgramPartner
The Modified Rugby Program (MRP) – Creating belonging and success. The Modified Rugby Program (MRP) is a new, modified form of touch-only rugby, developed by GingerCloud Foundation, where each boy and girl with a learning and perceptual disability has theirown club PlayerMentor on the field supporting them. Through the program, children experience the sheer thrill of playing rugby, often for the very first time. Participation in the MRP is likely the first time they have been able to play a team sport.
Rugby Australia is the sport's national governing body in Australia and is a member of World Rugby, Oceania Rugby and SANZAAR. Classic Wallabies enjoys a close working relationship with Rugby Australia, as one of the peak body’s affiliated member unions. This includes financial and administrative support to ensure a united and cohesive approach to rugby in Australia, especially in relation to Wallabies transition into life after rugby, and supporting Rugby Australia’s community rugby initiatives both domestically and internationally.

The Rugby Union Players' Association (RUPA) was eastblished in 1995 to directly promote and safeguard the interests of its members, namely the professional Rugby players of Australia, as well as to help members prepare to transition into the next phase of their life post-Rugby through actively encouraging them to pursue their interests and future careers away from the game. RUPA and Classic Wallabies work closely together to provide a support network for Classic Wallabies alumni in their transition and throughout post-rugby life. We collaborate on events and activities that bring Classic Wallabies and RUPA members together.
