A graduate of Brisbane’s Marist College Ashgrove, Nick Frisby was forced to bide his time at rugby’s senior level due to the imposing presence of Will Genia.
An Australian U20s representative, Frisby spent his first four seasons at the Queensland Reds firmly in the shadow of the incumbent Wallaby halfback however Genia’s move to France after the 2015 Rugby World Cup opened the door for him to pursue higher honours.
Frisby’s patience and hard work were rewarded in 2016 when he was selected in the Wallaby squad for the home series against England.
In 2018 Frisby left Australia when he signed a two-year deal to play in Scotland for Glasgow Warriors.
