Two Classic Wallabies and three Women's players spanning the Wallaroos and Womens Sevens programs were inducted into their respective Halls of Fame at the 2024 Rugby Australia Awards on October 30th.

Toutai Kefu (Classic Wallaby #741) and Matthew Burke (Classic Wallaby #710) were inducted as the latest entries into the Wallabies Hall of Fame - the first inductions since 2021. That same evening, Wallaroos trailblazers Selena Tranter (nee Worlsey, Classic Wallaroo #7) and Cheryl Mcafee (nee Soon, Classic Wallaroo #64), along with 2016 Olympic gold medallist Emilee Barton (nee Cherry) were inducted as the inaugural members of the women’s Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to all the inductees for achieving these honours.

The Wallabies Hall of Fame was established in 2005 following more than 100 years of Australian Rugby, celebrating and recognising our Wallabies who made a major contribution to the game of Rugby both on and off the Rugby field.

It is fitting that the Australian Women's Rugby Hall of Fame has been established in 2024, a year that marks the 30th anniversary of the Wallaroos first ever test match in 1994.
